OnePlus Watch 3 Pro Coming in 2025
We’re naturally interested in seeing how the company will follow up on these two devices next year, given the OnePlus Watch 2 is one of the most notable Wear OS smartwatches of the year, and the OnePlus Watch 2R essentially offers the same features at a cheaper price point.
According to a recent source, the OnePlus Watch 3 Pro will be released. Inside the OHealth app, which is used to control OnePlus and Oppo smartwatches, the name was discovered. Oppo is also planning to introduce the Oppo Watch X2 and Oppo Watch X2 Pro, which are its own-branded copies of the OnePlus Watch 3 and OnePlus Watch 3 Pro.
We currently don’t know what improvements the OnePlus Watch 3 Pro will have over its non-Pro series, even if several details regarding the non-Pro model have previously been leaked, such as the inclusion of a rotating bezel a la Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Classic series.
Given their different use of case materials, it is easy to assume that the OnePlus Watch 3 will be the successor to the OnePlus Watch 2R and the OnePlus Watch 3 Pro to the OnePlus Watch 2. However, with the R model still in production, OnePlus may have three smartwatches coming out next year.
It’s encouraging that OnePlus is creating new smartwatches, though. The OnePlus Watch 2 and OnePlus Watch 2R have likely sold well, or at least not poorly enough to justify discontinuing the line. Those who will be looking to purchase a Wear OS smartwatch in 2025 will benefit from that.
