Dimensity 8300 ultra antutu score

The flagship devices are powered by high-performance chipsets such as the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. October of last year saw the announcement of the former, and a month later, the latter. Despite having eight cores and being made using TSMC’s 4nm technology, the two devices differ significantly in a number of important ways.

In terms of Geekbench scores, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip performs noticeably better than the Dimensity 8300 ultra. Compared to the Dimensity chip, the scores are over 1.5 times higher.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 vs Dimensity 8300 Ultra: AnTuTu Score

AnTuTu is a well-known benchmarking site that assesses a device’s performance in a number of ways, including CPU, GPU, RAM, and user experience. The sum of the scores indicates a device’s overall performance.

Both processors are based on TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing node and have eight cores. Their cores and core clusters differ, though. For example, the Dimensity 8300 Ultra lacks the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3’s single Cortex-X4 prime core, which provides excellent performance and good efficiency. Instead, four Cortex-A715 cores are used for performance on the Dimensity processor, while the remaining four are Cortex-A510 cores for power efficiency.

The Adreno 750 on the Snapdragon chip and the Mali-G615 MC6 on the MediaTek chip are the GPU versions of the two chips. Better performance retention and support for hardware-accelerated ray tracing technologies are features of the former. Devices with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will therefore provide a better gaming experience than those with the Dimensity 8300 Ultra.

Additionally, the camera capabilities of the two CPUs vary. The Image Signal Processor (ISP) on the Snapdragon chip is 18 bits, while the one on the Dimensity chip is 14 bits. Although the latter supports a 320MP single camera (as opposed to the Snapdragon chip’s 200MP), it’s really not that much of a difference.

High-performance chipsets include the Dimensity 8300 Ultra and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Nonetheless, the CPU and GPU performance of the earlier chip is noticeably superior. Therefore, you would want to acquire a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 device for gaming and high-performance jobs like video editing. Both chips would, however, function flawlessly for light use. Purchasing a Dimensity 8300 Ultra gadget could actually save you some money, but only if you’re not interested in expensive games or video editing.

The X75 5G modem from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 can download files at a maximum speed of 10 Gbps, however the modem from the Dimensity 8300 Ultra can only download files at a maximum speed of 5.14 Gbps. Additionally, the former chip has Wi-Fi 7 capability, but the latter does not.
