Google rolls out Android 16 Beta 2

The latest beta is accessible for the Pixel 6 and the Pixel Tablet, Android Emulator, and other more recent handsets. The latest updates ought to be available as an OTA download if you were previously a part of the Android Beta Program.
Hybrid auto exposure, accurate color temperature and tint changes, motion photo capture, and support for Ultra HDR photographs in the HEIC file format are some of the new camera features. Google revealed that it plans to provide AVIF support for Ultra HDR in upcoming releases.
Additionally, the Android Graphics Shading Language (AGSL) allows for bespoke graphical effects in the latest beta. Complex effects like Threshold, Sepia, and Hue Saturation are among them, and they can be used to generate calls.
Updated 16 KB page size compatibility mode, which now enables apps designed for 4KB memory pages, more granular health and fitness permissions, and default security hardening against intent redirection attacks are all features of Android 16 Beta 2.
Google enhanced support for expandable UI elements, provided support for items with multiple labels, and increased accessibility for TalkBack. Android 16 streaming apps can now dynamically change the quality of the video according to the capabilities of the device.
Google will release two additional beta versions in the upcoming months after making Beta 2 available to the public. While the final release is anticipated later in Q2, Android 16 will reach platform stability in March.
