These US Carriers Now Support RCS Messaging on iPhone

RCS messaging is a new system that Apple introduced to improve communication between Android and iPhone users. In contrast with SMS, you can transfer larger files, view read/delivered receipts, and have typing indicators, features that were previously unavailable.
Based on data straight from Apple, this list will be updated once new carriers are introduced.
Carriers That Currently Support RCS Messaging on iPhone
Obviously, this is a lot more than what we got at launch, which was mostly limited to T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T. Although MVNOs (mobile virtual network operators, or small carriers) are providing much more support, it is still lacking in some areas.
With almost 3 million customers in the US, Mint Mobile and Ultra Mobile are two noteworthy outliers on the list.
- AT&T
- Boost Mobile (requires iOS 18.2)
- C Spire
- Consumer Cellular
- Cricket
- FirstNet
- H20 Wireless
- Metro by T-Mobile
- PureTalk
- Red Pocket
- Spectrum Mobile
- T-Mobile
- TracFone / Straight Talk
- US Cellular
- Verizon
- Visible
- Xfinity Mobile
T-Mobile acquired both Mint Mobile and Ultra Mobile early this year, which makes them particularly intriguing. However, it appears that T-Mobile hasn’t yet gotten around to implementing the functionality on its new sub-brands.
